Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Logistics Sr. Analyst to analyze and improve logistics operations through data-driven insights. You will forecast monthly financials, build Tableau dashboards, and troubleshoot SAP/Ariba related issues while guiding junior analysts.

You will develop cost models, perform data mining, and provide senior-management recommendations. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and vendor management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
Experience building monthly financial forecasts and obtaining forecast feedback.
Experience building and managing Tableau dashboards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Query.
Proficient in MS Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio.
Advanced skills in Google BigQuery, SQL, Visual Basic for Data Acquisition.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems (Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.).
Ariba Cloud experience managing POs, invoices, and troubleshooting issues.
Advanced Project Management Skills and Capital Budget experience.
Finance/CBA/Capital Budget experience.

Responsibilities

Utilizes quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support business execution.
Develops business tools and solutions; identifies logistics process improvement opportunities.
Provides recommendations to senior management; mentors and guides analysts.
Performs data management, data mining, modeling, and cost/benefit analysis while supporting daily processes.
Manages vendor/business partner relationships.
