Job summary

Leslie's Pool Supplies, based at our Phoenix corporate office, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee capital accounting and IT expenditure analytics. You will run month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls, with leadership of one direct report in a hybrid work setup.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years in public accounting or public company accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and excellent communication skills. Relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum five years in public accounting and/or public company accounting with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; experience with Workday Adaptive, Blackline is preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly P&L review, variances, trends, and risks.
• Lead month-end close and prepare period-end entries and reconciliations.
• Manage capital, SaaS, and IT spend budgeting/forecasting and SOX controls.
• Mentor the Senior Fixed Asset Accountant and support audit requests.
• Coordinate ERP system implementation and process improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve data flow and reporting.
