Job summary

Northern Trust in Chicago seeks a Program Management Business Solutions, Consultant to oversee capital-funded initiatives and provide transparent reporting on investment utilization. You will partner with technology, product, and finance teams to improve reporting, track spend, and validate development time, using Power BI and Excel.

A strong analytical background and experience with SDLC and Agile delivery are preferred.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and financial acumen.
Advanced Excel skills with pivots, lookups, forecasting, and data analysis.
Experience analyzing budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, or operational metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

Monitor capital-funded initiatives and track performance against budgets and forecasts.
Review developer time reporting and validate allocations for accuracy and completeness.
Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel; analyze throughput and capacity.
Collaborate with delivery teams, engineering managers, agile leaders, and product teams to improve reporting and governance.
