Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Construction Analyst to support our capital construction program. You will analyze budgets, expenditures, forecasts, and cash flow while ensuring cost controls and accurate reporting for decision-making.

Responsibilities include managing Procore as the system administrator, coordinating contract workflows, and delivering recurring financial insights to project managers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics is required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger, and budget processes.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Access, and Word.
• Healthcare cost accounting knowledge is preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, commitments, expenditures, and cash flow for the capital construction program.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and analyses for leadership and stakeholders.
• Analyze budget variances, forecast changes, contingency usage, and risks to support decisions.
• Partner with project managers to maintain accurate cost-to-complete forecasts and schedules.
• Reconcile financial data across Procore, accounting, and procurement systems for accurate reporting.
• Administer contract processes by coordinating with multiple teams to prepare, review, and execute contracts.
