Job summary

BlueFin Services - Capillary is seeking a Lead Service Technician for the Midland/Odessa area to perform field work, lead crews, and train technicians supporting oil and gas well operations. The role requires three years of related field experience; three years in the energy industry or a related sector is preferred.

You will work under moderate supervision and use judgment within assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

Three years of related field experience, required or strongly preferred.
Three years in the energy industry or a related sector is preferred.
Proven ability to lead crews, train technicians, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to understand and communicate in English for work instructions and safety.

Responsibilities

Direct and perform capillary tubing installation, retrieval, and related field services under approved work plans and procedures.
Lead and supervise a field crew and train Service Technicians on equipment operation and job requirements.
Operate assigned spooling and capillary service equipment; train technicians in proper equipment use and testing.
Service, maintain, and test equipment and tools in the shop and on jobs; handle loading/unloading as needed.
Communicate clearly with clients and office/field teammates; participate in Job Safety Analyses.
Participate in training on other services and comply with HSE, quality, safety, and operating requirements.
