Job summary

Starlink in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sourcing Specialist for CAPEX to support capital and consumables purchases for the Starlink program. You will work with internal stakeholders to drive cost savings, optimize supplier performance, and develop procurement strategies for equipment, services, and MRO items.

The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with travel up to 20% and onsite work in Redmond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or related fields; or 3+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with capital expenditure purchasing and large-scale capital projects is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and cost modeling skills (Total Cost of Ownership, Should-Cost).

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices for assigned category.
• Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals for incoming material.
• Track supplier performance on cost, delivery, and quality metrics.
• Develop sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet cost targets.
• Draft and manage contracts in collaboration with legal.
