SpaceX is seeking a Sourcing Specialist, CAPEX (Starlink) to enable production of customer-facing products and partner with internal stakeholders. You will drive procurement for capital equipment and services, negotiate terms, and optimize cost across Starlink supply chains.

The role requires on-site work in Redmond, WA, with travel as needed and a strong focus on delivering value through strategic supplier relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following; OR 3+ years in one or more of the following in lieu of a degree: Engineering, Purchasing, Contract negotiation, Material or production planning, Operations or supply chain management, Material cost control, Master production scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices related to assigned category.
• Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals to adjust incoming material.
• Track supplier performance on cost, on-time delivery, quality, and other metrics.
• Utilize negotiations to maximize value and cost savings benefit while lowering risk.
• Create sourcing strategies for Equipment, Services, MRO, and custom parts to reduce risk and meet targets for the supply chain department including, but not limited to, payment terms, cash targets, continuity of supply, and cost savings.
• Solve complex, open-ended problems with an emphasis on speed and efficiency.
• Develop a preferred supplier network and leverage it to minimize cost and lead time.
• Perform onsite reviews of vendor capabilities.
• Responsible for authoring of contract documents with the legal department.
• Management of contracts ensuring performance of the supplier to contract obligations.
• Understand interrelationships between contracts and terms while applying creativity and sound business reasoning to interpret application of contract to business needs.
• Maximize value and cost savings through direct negotiations as well as cost modeling (i.e. Total Cost of Ownership, Should-Cost, etc.)
