Job summary

Unilever is seeking a Project Delivery Engineer to lead the capital projects for our chemical processing operations. You will own end-to-end delivery, from concept through commissioning, coordinating with operations, maintenance, automation, and SHE teams to ensure safety, reliability, and cost effectiveness.

The role emphasizes strong project governance, risk management, and collaboration across functions to realize capacity improvements and efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years delivering capital projects in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience managing end-to-end project execution, budgets, and contractor coordination.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to influence stakeholders across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects (CapEx) from concept to handover.
• Own scope, budget, schedule, and risk for projects.
• Partner with operations to identify capacity expansion and cost optimizations.
• Develop technical deliverables (P&IDs, layouts, specs) for execution.
• Drive vendor selection, contractor management, and equipment procurement.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety and governance.
