Job summary

Trecora is seeking a seasoned Manage - Project Planning to own the CAPEX work process, developing and coordinating project plans across sites, including headquarters. The role partners with CAPEX stakeholders and leadership to ensure successful execution and governance of capital projects.

Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, preparing executive reports, and driving continuous improvement in capital project processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project planning or management.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CAPEX projects across sites to ensure proper scoping and approval.
• Maintain project performance metrics and timely reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of CAPEX processes and governance.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance throughout project execution.
• Assist in developing and monitoring annual CAPEX budgets and spending plans.
• Review CAPEX authorizations for completeness and DOA alignment.
• Provide financial visibility with costs, forecasts, and expenditures.
• Maintain reporting dashboards and executive-level project updates.
