AkzoNobel in the United States (Waukegan, IL) seeks an Engineering Project Manager for Capital Expenditure and Asset Reliability Initiatives. You will lead CAPEX project prep and execution, engaging end-users and cross-functional teams to deliver standard solutions while integrating safety and reliability across facilities.

The role involves managing suppliers, coordinating with Procurement, and guiding Basis of Design packages to improve asset performance and lifecycle management.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead CAPEX project preparation and execution with defined scope and end-users.
• Coordinate with facility representatives to specify needs and design solutions.
• Select suppliers, issue requisitions, and decide contracting model with Procurement.
• Manage internal or external engineering teams to deliver the Basis of Design.
• Provide reliability engineering direction and asset performance initiatives.
• Report project status to Engineering management to minimize risk.
• Ensure safety, quality, planning and cost management.
