Job summary

Flow is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to lead CapEx oversight across multiple business lines. You will manage budgets, ensure monthly reporting, and enforce compliance while driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5–7+ years of accounting experience, with GAAP knowledge; IFRS a plus. Proficiency in Excel and Intacct is preferred to support cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in Accounting or Financial Management
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work with complex financial data
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP; IFRS a plus
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Excel, GSuite, Intacct a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and department heads to monitor CapEx projects
• Develop, implement, and oversee control procedures and forms to track capital expenditures
• Maintain comprehensive records of CapEx projects, budgets, change orders, and key financial metrics
• Collaborate with Property Management to manage changes and tracking of CapEx items
• Understand and document processes within the CapEx workstream, including operational and financial controls
• Monitor spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets and address discrepancies
• Regularly review/reconcile financial data and report discrepancies to Controller
• Ensure accurate capitalization of eligible expenditures in the general ledger
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on CapEx status to senior management
• Conduct variance analyses and offer recommendations to improve financial performance
