Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capacity planning leader to own end-to-end capacity planning, turning commitments into GPU demand forecasts and coordinating across regions and timelines.

You will partner with Finance on scenarios, align procurement with demand, and deliver strategic briefings in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in strategy, operations, consulting, finance, or similar analytical role.
  • Ability to own complex cross-functional processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong quantitative and modeling skills, including demand forecasts and capacity models.
  • Excellent communication and ability to distill ambiguity into recommendations for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the capacity planning process end to end, including intake, triage, prioritization, fulfillment tracking, and post-mortem learnings
  • Translate customer commitments, sales pipeline, and infrastructure growth targets into GPU demand forecasts across regions, GPU types, and timelines
  • Partner with Finance to model capacity scenarios, evaluate supply opportunities, and support CapEx decision-making
  • Work with the Capacity Acquisition team to align supply procurement with forward demand and flag risks early
  • Coordinate Sales, SRE, and Infrastructure teams to resolve capacity conflicts and honor customer commitments
  • Build and maintain the operational cadence for structured, visible capacity planning
  • Develop reporting and dashboards showing capacity health, utilization trends, and risk exposure
  • Identify operational gaps and drive process improvements that reduce toil and improve reliability
  • Produce strategic capacity briefings and scenario analyses for senior leadership
  • Lead cross-functional response to high-stakes capacity situations

Job description

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, finance, or a similarly analytical and execution-oriented role
  • Demonstrated ability to own complex, cross-functional processes with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong quantitative and modeling skills, including demand forecasts, scenario analyses, and capacity models
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to distill ambiguous situations into clear recommendations for senior leadership
  • High ownership mindset and ability to drive fixes through completion
  • Ability to operate under pressure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, cloud platforms, or AI/ML ecosystem
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or Series B+ environment
  • Exposure to vendor or partner management, particularly in hardware, cloud, or infrastructure contexts
