Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Aggregate datasets across sales, capacity, forecasts, backlog, and SIOP plans.
• Publish monthly and ad-hoc capacity reports detailing capacity, backlog, and demand signals.
• Deliver tailored data views to Sales, Commercial Finance, and SIOP teams to drive alignment.
• Analyze gaps between commitments and forecasts, and assess PO coverage vs. capacity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate needs into dashboards and insights.
• Engage with regional teams on multi-region agreements and deliveries.
• Track pipeline and update capacity-related commitments.
• Support demand modeling, capacity utilization, and scheduling needs.
• Assist Revenue timing and financial forecasting with compliance considerations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Capacity Commitments & Governance Manager serves as the central data orchestrator connecting customer commitments to operational execution. In this role, you will aggregate, analyze, and disseminate critical capacity and demand data across commercial and operational functions. You will bridge the gap between signed agreements, customer forecasts, and manufacturing execution—ensuring Vertiv can deliver on commitments, optimize capacity, manage book-and-ship requirements, and maintain a single source of truth.

Responsibilities

• Data Aggregation & Analysis: Consolidate disparate datasets across sales pipeline, signed capacity agreements, customer forecasts, factory backlog, and SIOP plans into standardized reporting models.
• Cadence Reporting: Build, maintain, and publish monthly (and ad-hoc) capacity tracking views detailing committed capacity, flex capacity, backlog, and the latest customer demand signals.
• Cross-Functional Dissemination: Deliver tailored, intuitive data views to Sales, Commercial Finance, and SIOP Demand & Supply Planning teams to drive alignment.
• Capacity & Demand Alignment: Analyze gaps between customer commitments and current forecasts and PO coverage vs capacity agreement language
• Stakeholder Partnership: Actively engage cross-functional partners to understand evolving reporting needs and translate complex requirements into actionable dashboards and operational insights.
• International Stakeholders: Engage with Vertiv teams in other regions for agreements that span deliveries into or produced in other Vertiv regions.
• Sales & Account Teams: Pipeline tracking and agreement updates.
• SIOP (Demand & Supply Planning): Demand modeling, capacity utilization, and scheduling needs
• Finance & Commercial Finance: Revenue timing, financial forecasting, and agreement compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, supply chain planning, SIOP, or commercial operations (manufacturing experience strongly preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas); experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and enterprise ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce) is a plus.
• Proven ability to synthesize ambiguous, disparate datasets into clear, structured, and actionable views.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of driving alignment across cross-functional commercial and operational teams.
