Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in Defensive Cyber Operations with hands-on SOC, threat hunting, detection analytics, malware analysis, or cyber deception.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence strategic decisions in complex environments.
• Mentoring staff and shaping staff development across the department.
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI/Polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical quality efforts and drive development of standards within department programs and labs.
• Shape content and set expectations for current and future work programs.
• Collaborate with division leadership to ensure technical strength and opportunity for reuse.
• Build cross-mission exchanges to share challenges and coordinate capability development.
• Provide technical mentorship and staff development across MITRE’s groups.
