Job summary

BD is a global leader in medical technology seeking a CAPA/Quality leader in San Diego. You will own the CAPA process, drive improvements in manufacturing and Quality System, mentor teams, and help validate processes for regulatory compliance.

Required: BS degree and 5 years in manufacturing with CAPA and quality experience; Six Sigma/GMP expertise strongly preferred. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience with broad background in manufacturing processes.
• 3 years CAPA process experience and 2 years quality manufacturing experience.
• Proven improvement history using Green/Black Belt/Six Sigma techniques.
• Experience with GMP/Medical Device manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own the CAPA process and lead quality-improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and Quality System.
• Mentor teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist validation, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Support internal/external audits and safety requirements.
