Job summary

BD, a global leader in medical technology, seeks a CAPA/Quality professional in El Paso to own the site CAPA program and drive regulatory compliance across audits and inspections.

The role requires 5+ years in Quality/Manufacturing within regulated environments, plus 2+ years in CAPA or related leadership. Strong English/Spanish communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Quality/Manufacturing within a regulated industry (medical device, pharma, or similar).
• 2+ years in CAPA, investigations, or compliance leadership roles.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the site CAPA program lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Ensure CAPAs are risk-based, timely, and compliant with regulatory requirements (FDA).
• Lead CAPA governance forums and review boards.
• Drive root cause investigations using methods like 5 Whys, Fishbone, and DMAIC.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and other teams to resolve issues.
• Track CAPA metrics: on-time closure, overdue CAPAs, recurrence, investigation time.
