Texas Instruments is actively seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our team through the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), a 12-month ramp with on‑the‑job learning and function‑specific training. This role focuses on reliability from development to end‑of‑life and collaboration with technology, packaging, and development teams to optimize product quality and field performance.

Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0.
Expertise in semiconductor/packaging reliability, failure mechanisms, and industry standards (AEC, JEDEC).
Strong problem-solving with data-driven decision making and technical communication.
Ability to manage complex projects, drive results, meet deadlines autonomously.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
Ability to quickly master new systems, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

Drive reliability across the product lifecycle from development to end-of-life.
Collaborate with technology, packaging, and development teams on QOL and long-term reliability.
Define component/system requirements and validate them through reliability testing.
Champion best practices, statistical methods, and new reliability techniques to identify failures.
Work with business units to ensure products meet industry reliability standards.
