Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Capital Markets Transactions within Assurance. You will oversee IPO, SPAC and other advisory engagements, guiding technical accounting and financial reporting, while coordinating multiple workstreams with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and strengthen client relationships, delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in managing and supervising teams.
• Deep understanding of capital markets transactions (e.g., IPOs, SPACs).
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-threaded projects.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
• US GAAP knowledge and familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP conversions.
• CPA/CFA/CRISC/PMP or related certification required.
• Must reside within commutable distance of the assigned office and able to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IPO, SPAC, and other CMT advisory engagements.
• Lead project planning, stakeholder management, and delivery of milestones.
• Drive client relationships and identify additional engagement opportunities.
• Supervise, coach and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on transactions and disclosures.
• Manage engagement budgets and resource allocation.
• Stay current with regulatory and capital markets developments.
