Location: Weslaco, TX
Pay: $24/hour base, with the ability to earn up to $27/hour
Type: Temporary / Campaign position - full-time and part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends
Start Date: Immediately
Bilingual Preferred: English/Spanish

This program focuses on increasing voter participation and engagement in Weslaco and the Rio Grande Valley, and on making sure every voice in the community is heard. At Solidarity Strategies, we are committed to electing Democrats and driving progressive change through grassroots organizing and one-on-one conversations with voters.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring passionate, outgoing, and reliable canvassers to join our field team in Weslaco, TX. As a canvasser, you will talk with voters at their doors, share information about the campaign, and record conversations using tools like MiniVAN.

This is an entry-level position, and no prior experience is required. Paid training is provided. Flexible schedules and multiple shifts are available.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years or older
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a smartphone with mobile data and access to apps
• Access to reliable transportation
• Flexible availability: 12+ hours per week
• Must complete paid program training before beginning field work
