Job summary

RAFTRx is looking for a self-motivated canvasser to generate qualified roof inspection appointments by going door-to-door in local neighborhoods in Kalamazoo. You will use mobile tools to capture homeowner details and schedule visits, while following approved scripts to answer questions and objections.

You’ll build trust by explaining no-cost inspections, maintain required licenses, and support marketing efforts to drive more leads.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Go door-to-door in residential neighborhoods to generate qualified appointments for free roof inspections.
• Identify homes that may qualify for roof replacements based on visual indicators.
• Deliver approved scripts and responses confidently to homeowners.
• Build rapport and educate homeowners on the benefits of a no-cost inspection.
• Schedule inspection appointments using SalesRabbit and log accurate information in company systems.
• Document and track appointments in SalesRabbit and AccuLynx to support qualification and incentives.
• Track outreach activities and follow up with warm leads to maximize conversions.
• Meet or exceed a target of 25 qualified inspections per month.
• Maintain all solicitation licenses, badges, and identification during fieldwork.
• Support marketing through social media, local networking, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

• Go door-to-door in residential neighborhoods to generate qualified appointments for free roof inspections.
• Identify homes that may qualify for roof replacements based on visual indicators such as roof age, storm damage, missing shingles, and flashing issues.
• Memorize and confidently deliver approved scripts, pitches, and responses to common homeowner questions and objections.
• Build rapport and trust with homeowners by educating them on the benefits of a no-cost, no-obligation inspection.
• Schedule inspection appointments through SalesRabbit and ensure accurate homeowner and appointment information is recorded in company systems.
• Follow company procedures for documenting and tracking appointments in SalesRabbit and AccuLynx to support inspection qualification and incentive validation.
• Diligently track outreach activities and follow up with warm leads to maximize conversions.
• Meet or exceed performance goals, including a target of 25 qualified inspections per month.
• Maintain all required solicitation licenses, badges, and identification during fieldwork.
• Support marketing efforts through social media, local networking, and referrals to generate additional leads.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• Comfortable working independently and outdoors.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in canvassing, sales, or customer service is a plus—but not required. We’ll train the right candidates.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk for extended periods and navigate neighborhoods with uneven terrain, steep driveways, or porch steps.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
• Must be able to remain on foot or standing for several hours at a time.

Compensation & Incentives

We offer an hourly base pay plus performance-based incentives. No prior sales experience is required, and we provide training to help you succeed.

• Hourly Base Pay: $15 per hour.
• Qualified Inspection Incentive: $75 per qualified inspection.
• Monthly Performance Target: 25 qualified inspections.

A qualified inspection must be scheduled through SalesRabbit, recorded in AccuLynx, and approved by a supervisor in accordance with company guidelines.
