Job summary

Revolution Field Strategies is seeking a Canvass Manager for a voter registration program in Pittsburgh. You will recruit, train, and manage canvassers, coordinating with Regional Organizing Directors, Project Director, and Operations to reach ambitious goals.

The role requires a self-starter with strong leadership and the ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment. Full-time, exempt position with evening/weekend hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with a team.
• Strong desire to help register new voters.
• Must have ready access to personal transportation and provide proof of driver’s insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and management of canvassers in the field, including pre-shift briefings and post-shift debriefings.
• Work with the Regional Organizer and Project Director to implement, adjust, and improve the training program.
• Willing and able to work extended hours, with 6-day, 60+ hour weeks from mid-March through May, possibly extending through September with evenings and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
