Job summary

Revolution Field Strategies is seeking a Canvass Manager for a voter contact program in Akron, Ohio. You will recruit, train, and manage canvassers who operate door-to-door in the Akron area, working with the Regional Organizing Directors and Project Director to meet ambitious goals.

The role is full-time and exempt, with extended hours and 6-day weeks during peak periods. We provide comprehensive training and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Desire to help register new voters.
• Access to personal transportation with proof of driver’s insurance.
• Experience with canvassing tools is a plus (VoteBuilder, MiniVAN, Blocks).

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and management of canvassers in the field, including pre-shift briefings and post-shift debriefings.
• Work with the Regional Organizer and Project Director to implement, adjust, and improve the training program.
• Willing and able to work extended hours, 6-day, 60+ hour weeks from mid-March through May with extension potential.
• Other duties as assigned.
