Job summary

Revolution Field Strategies is seeking a Canvass Manager for a Voter Contact program in Dayton, Ohio. You will recruit, train, and manage canvassers who will go door to door in the Dayton area, working with Regional Organizing Directors and our Operations team to meet ambitious goals.

Expected to work in regional canvass offices, spend time in the field, and manage a diverse team. We provide comprehensive training and encourage applicants with the qualified skills, regardless of campaign

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
• Strong desire to help register new voters.
• Must have ready access to personal transportation and will be required to provide proof of driver’s insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and management of canvassers in the field, including pre-shift briefings and post-shift debriefings.
• Work with the Regional Organizer and Project Director to implement, adjust, and improve the training program.
• Willing and able to work extended hours, with the expectation of 6-day, 60+ hour weeks from mid-March through May with the high likelihood of extension through September, including evenings and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
