Job summary

Revolution Field Strategies is seeking a Canvass Manager for a voter contact program in Dayton, Ohio. You will recruit, train, and manage canvassers who go door to door in the Dayton area, coordinating with the Regional Organizing Directors, Project Director and Operations to achieve ambitious goals.

This full-time exempt role requires leadership, self-motivation, and the ability to work with a diverse team. Training is provided and compensation ranges with experience.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Desire to help register new voters and engage the community.
• Must have access to personal transportation and provide proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and management of canvassers in the field, including pre-shift briefings and post-shift debriefings.
• Collaborate with Regional Organizer and Project Director to implement and improve training programs.
• Work extended hours; 6-day, 60+ hour weeks from mid-March to May with possible extension through September, including evenings/weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
