Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring for an IT Helpdesk Technician based in Canton, Ohio. You will be the first point of contact for IT support requests and resolve hardware, software, network, and account issues across Microsoft 365, Windows, and macOS environments.

You will handle onboarding and offboarding, assist with security configurations, and coordinate with field engineers on complex problems while maintaining clear communication and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT support, helpdesk operations, or service delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and macOS environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, user provisioning, and password management.
• Basic networking, remote connectivity, and VPN troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests and resolve issues.
• Provide support via phone, chat, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user account issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to Field Support Engineers or IT teams.
• Assist with onboarding by preparing accounts, devices, and access configurations.
