Job summary

SC Department of Social Services is seeking an Assessment and Planning Coordinator to serve as the practice expert for CANS implementation and FAST compliance. You will coordinate service delivery, monitor performance and provide training to county staff to uphold GPS guiding principles.

You will also update curricula, conduct quality reviews, and offer case consultations to integrate assessment results into planning, with travel as needed to regional and state meetings.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience in social work, management, public administration or related fields.
• A Master’s Degree with two years of experience satisfies the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as practice expert for the daily implementation of CANS and FAST.
• Coordinate and support service delivery for CANS and FAST compliance and quality.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to county staff and conduct trainings.
• Monitor CAPSS data and ensure timely submission and resubmission of CANS.
• Update training curricula and materials to reflect current policies.
• Conduct quality reviews of FAST and provide consultation to counties.
• Provide case consultations on integrating CANS results into case planning.
