Job summary

District Photo, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Canon Machine Operator for the night shift to join our fast-paced production team. The role involves operating Canon printing equipment, setting up and monitoring runs, and ensuring quality on a high-volume line.

We offer a night schedule: B Shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM (Mon–Thu) or D Shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM (Fri–Sun). Pay is $20.00 per hour, with benefits including 401K, paid vacation and more.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator experience required.
• Experience operating digital or commercial print equipment preferred.
• Comfortable working around high-speed production equipment.
• Ability to learn machine settings and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate Canon production printing equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Set up, start, monitor, and operate equipment during the shift.
• Monitor print quality and identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Perform routine machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues when necessary.
• Load materials and monitor consumables.
• Follow production schedules and document quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Communicate equipment issues, downtime, and production concerns to leadership.
• Collaborate with team, maintenance, and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Follow safety, quality, and operating procedures.
