Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Canning Crewleader to provide frontline leadership in the Canning Department, overseeing skilled maintenance and training for seasonal workers.

The role focuses on reliable equipment operation, safe practices, and smooth production flow. You will diagnose mechanical issues, perform repairs, and support setup, start-up, and shut-down activities while ensuring adherence to safety, food safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and precision measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair of canning room machinery.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and training to seasonal employees in the canning department.
• Coordinate changeovers, startups, and shutdowns; support equipment setup and reliability.
• Monitor production flow and respond to interruptions with corrective action.
• Ensure safety, food safety, and quality procedures are followed.
