Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Canning Crewleader in Plover, WI, to provide frontline leadership in the Canning Department and oversee maintenance, repair, and equipment reliability.

You will train seasonal staff, coordinate production activities, and ensure safety and quality standards are met across the canning line. This full-time role requires mechanical aptitude and strong collaboration with production, maintenance, and quality teams to maintain workflow, uptime, and product

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot industrial production equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems with basic electrical and hydraulic understanding.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair of canning room machinery and equipment.
• Inspect and repair seamers, fillers, crate loaders, slicers, seed reels, and other canning equipment.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and training to seasonal employees in the Canning Department.
• Coordinate start-up/shutdown activities and support equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
• Promote safety, food safety, and quality through adherence to procedures and training.
