Job summary

iAnthus is seeking a Wholesale Account Specialist in New Jersey to maximize sales by targeting new accounts and maintaining strong client relationships. You will support the design of high-performance sales strategies and coordinate with the Wholesale team to meet goals.

You will travel as needed, engage with retailers and consumers, and ensure compliant, impactful field activations that align with marketing objectives. Base pay starts at $50,000 with commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Services new and existing accounts and secures orders.
  • Enter wholesale sales into software or POS systems.
  • Open new doors and manage relationships.
  • Identify new or trending products to add to the lineup.
  • Submit activity and results reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Recommend product/service/policy changes based on results.
  • Resolve customer issues by investigation and reporting.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
  • Maintain historical records of area and customer sales.

Starting Pay Rate: $50,000 + Comission

Summary:

The Wholesale Account Specialist works closely with the Wholesale team to maximize sales by targeting new accounts to add to our portfolio. The Wholesale Account Specialist will follow up with clients as needed to solicit feedback on products and services as well as assist in efforts to build and maintain relationships with customers. The Wholesale Account Specialist will also support management in the design and development of high-performance innovative sales strategies.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Services new and existing accounts, obtains orders
  • Enter wholesale sales into the applicable software or POS systems
  • Focuses sales efforts by opening new doors and managing those relationships
  • Identifies new or trending products to add to the products offered
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and category analyses
  • Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts;
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays;
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds;
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day;
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time;
  • Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
    • General office environment;
    • Extended computer usage;
    • Extended phone usage including teleconferences, and Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise
