Job summary

Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor for its Tempe, AZ location. You will greet customers, educate them on cannabis products, assist with transactions, and ensure compliance with local regulations while delivering excellent service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in retail or hospitality, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn about cannabinoids and product applications. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Be an advocate of cannabis customer care.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage as a wellness product.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Assist with stock, merchandising, and maintaining a clean workstation.
• Complete transactions at the POS and ensure inventory accuracy in METRC or similar systems.
