NFP Corp in Sandy Springs, Georgia, is hiring an in-office entry-level underwriter to handle underwriting administrative needs and help build the brand and organization. A Risk Management & Insurance background is preferred; mortgage of experience is welcome but not required.

You will work with underwriters and brokers to gather information and support growth and retention goals. Base salary ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 with potential performance-based incentives.

Formación

• Bachelors Degree in Risk Management & Insurance preferred
• Strong math and analytical skills with an emphasis on problem-solving
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and G-Suite products
• Property & Casualty License Required after 2 months of employment

Responsabilidades

• Review applications and perform initial underwriting for cannabis accounts
• Identifying and gathering relevant account information for new business and renewal policy activity
• Participate with Underwriters in the renewal and new business activities that support marketing and underwriting decisions that are consistent with growth and retention goals
• Process endorsements, policy changes, and account renewals
• Assess clientsurrent insurance placements for strengths and deficiencies
• Work directly with specialized insurance brokers to develop business relationships
• Scheduling inspections and monitoring for compliance with recommendations
• Manage account documentation.
