Job summary

MMD Long Beach is seeking Budtenders to greet customers, explain cannabis products, and guide purchases with friendly, knowledgeable service.

The role focuses on helping customers find the right products, promoting promotions, and maintaining a clean, compliant, and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Retail, sales or hospitality experience preferred.
• Cannabis retail experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Learn about cannabis products, brands, promotions, and daily deals.
• Recommend products based on customer preferences and needs.
• Accurately process purchases through the point-of-sale system.
• Verify customer identification and follow all compliance requirements.
• Monitor and promptly prepare pickup and online orders.
• Meet individual and store sales goals.
• Explain the MMD rewards program and current promotions.
• Restock products and keep displays clean and organized.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming sales floor.
• Follow all company policies and California cannabis regulations.
• Support opening, closing, and other daily store duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.

Pay: $16.90-$18.40 per hour, based on experience, plus tips and sales bonus opportunities
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

MMD Long Beach is looking for friendly, dependable, and motivated Budtenders to join our team. Budtenders help customers find the right products, provide excellent service, and create a welcoming dispensary experience.

• Must meet all state and local requirements for cannabis employees
