Job summary

Consume Cannabis Co. is seeking a diligent Security Guard to protect retail facilities, monitor cameras, and control access. You will work under the general manager, perform pre-opening and post-closing checks, and respond to incidents following state and company policies.

The role requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma, and prior security experience. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Two years security and surveillance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises and monitor surveillance cameras.
• Check doors and windows to ensure they are locked.
• Perform morning and nightly security checks before opening and after closing.
• Be on property 15 minutes before opening and stay until last manager on duty leaves.
• Notify management or police in emergencies and restrain trespassers when needed.
• Escort visitors and check in with Visitor Log and badges.
• Ensure staff follow policies and security procedures.
• Maintain records of security activities as required.
