Consume Cannabis Co. is seeking a Security Guard to safeguard retail facilities through patrolling, monitoring cameras, inspecting entries, and permitting access. You will report irregularities, coordinate with management, and enforce state policies set by PTS/Consume Cannabis Co.

The role emphasizes loss prevention, visitor sign-in, and staying on-site with the team from pre-opening to close, with a starting pay of $20.00 hourly.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of security and surveillance experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring cameras.
• Check doors and windows to ensure proper locking throughout the day.
• Perform morning and nightly security checks before opening and after closing.
• Be on-site 15 minutes before opening and stay with staff until last manager leaves.
• Notify Manager or police in emergencies and sound alarms as needed.
• Check in visitors, scan IDs, sign logs, and issue visitor badges.
• Escort non-licensed visitors or contractors when required.
• Ensure staff follow security policies and maintain surveillance.
• Maintain records of security activities per state rules.
