Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings, Logan Square location, is hiring Full Time Security Agents to protect staff and customers and maintain a safe, compliant retail environment. The role involves monitoring access, patrolling, responding to alarms, and coordinating with local authorities as needed.

Two-plus years in security, high school diploma or GED, and strong customer service are required; cannabis retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security or similar experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Retail experience, cannabis retail a plus.
• Exceptional customer service and basic computer skills.
• Experience with surveillance systems and CPR/first aid preferred.
• Must pass background checks and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal and perimeter store security.
• Inspect and patrol premises regularly.
• Monitor access and egress points.
• Authorize entrance of staff and customers.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate with police, fire, and EMT as needed.
• Provide assistance to staff and customers.
• Report suspicious activities promptly.
