Green Thumb Industries seeks a friendly Patient Care Specialist to assist patients in our New Jersey dispensary, guiding them through GTI product options and selecting safe consumption methods. You will handle transactions and maintain a welcoming, compliant store environment.

Role requires strong communication and a willingness to learn about cannabis products, regulations, and GTI offerings to help every patient find the right solution.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience, with preference for retail-facing roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment.
• Utilize product and consumption-method knowledge to recommend a safe and effective regimen for each patient.
• Ensure sales floor is properly stocked and store presence is well maintained.
• Own responsibility for staying up-to-date with product knowledge.
• Educate patients on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of interactions.
• Complete duties during shift including: cash handling, discount application, and ID verification.
• Maintain accurate patient profiles in the POS system and state verification system.
• Assist in deliveries verification and ensure security and safety compliance.
• Support management to ensure store operations run smoothly and compliantly.
