Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will be staff & customer focused with the proven ability to build, train, and motivate a high performing team and assist the GM in maintaining all aspects of daily operations.

The pay for this role is $22-$24/hour DOE. This is a full time position that requires weekend availability. You will be working at Fyre Ants and/or Embr dispensaries.

Cannabis experience is highly preferred, with experience in Dutchie, Metrc, and Weedmaps preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations for disabilities.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service and maintain store standards, leading by example with integrity and excellent communication skills.
  • Assist GM in running day-to-day dispensary activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and Bureau of Cannabis Control regulations at all times.
  • Lead departmental operations such as cash management, inventory management, and auditing in a compliant manner.
  • Work with GM to train and supervise departmental employees to ensure SOP compliance.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the GM or Ownership team.
  • Audit online menus and ensure inventory team fulfills their duties.
  • Schedule employee reviews, generate weekly staff performance reports, and monthly attendance reports.
Additional Duties
  • Assist with project planning and staff management in cooperation with the GM.
  • Nurture positive relationships with staff.
  • Train, coach, and develop employees.
  • Address issues promptly.
Job Qualifications
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Pass a Department of Criminal Justice criminal background check (LiveScan) and other screenings.
  • General knowledge of cannabis products, paraphernalia, and industry trends.
  • Ability to manage a team in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, high integrity, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
Education & Experience
  • Experience in high volume sales.
  • Experience with Greenbits POS and Metrc.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Sit for up to 8 hours.
  • Lift at least 50 pounds safely.
  • Perform reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, and carrying for customer service and inventory tasks.
