Job summary

DreamFields, based in Massachusetts, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support the National Manager of Total Quality. The role inspects products, tracks defects, and ensures only compliant products advance in the manufacturing and distribution process.

Responsibilities include testing, SOP adherence, real-time data entry, and notifying leadership of quality issues. Requires a HS diploma and cannabis-quality experience; GMPs knowledge is preferred. Position is full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in quality control/assurance, preferably in cannabis or similarly regulated industry.
• Experience with accurate and timely data reporting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect or test products before, during, and after manufacturing to ensure compliance with standards.
• Review SOPs, work instructions, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Pass or reject products to meet cannabis regulations and internal specs; categorize defects.
• Document inspection results with real-time data entry and quarterly reporting where applicable.
• Raise red flags and communicate quality- or compliance-related issues clearly.
• Collaborate with QC Supervisor and Production Leads to drive improvements.
• Maintain QC equipment and sanitary work areas per GMP.
• Support product tests or experiments as needed.
