Job summary

DreamFields is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support the QC Supervisor at the New York location. You will inspect products, track defect types and quantities, and ensure proper containment of quality risks before products proceed in manufacturing or distribution.

The role requires attention to detail, proper documentation, and collaboration with the QC team to drive corrective actions and improvements.

Qualifications

• Meticulous attention to detail; inspect and verify labeling with accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration with QC Supervisor and team.
• Experience with accurate and timely data reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products before, during, and after manufacturing to ensure standards.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and specifications.
• Categorize rejected products and track rework/rejections in real time.
• Document inspection results and report quality data on a set cadence.
• Raise red flags and communicate issues clearly to the team.
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement with QC leadership.
• Maintain GMP-compliant, sanitary workstations and equipment.
