Job summary

DreamFields is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support the Quality Control Supervisor in New York. You will inspect products, track defects, and ensure only compliant products move forward in manufacturing and distribution.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, documenting results, and communicating quality issues to the QC team. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and GMP awareness in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in cannabis or a similarly highly regulated industry.
• Experience with accurate and timely data reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products before, during, and after manufacturing to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
• Follow SOPs, instructions, and specifications.
• Pass or reject products to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
• Categorize rejected products by defect and track rework/rejections in real time.
• Document inspection results and report quality data accurately.
