Green Thumb in West Haven, CT seeks a Quality Technician to verify raw ingredients, materials, packaging, and finished products meet regulatory and customer standards. The role supports GMP compliance, audits, and quality tracking systems to uphold safety and quality.

You will perform inspections, samples, and documentation control, assist with non-conforming products, and help implement corrective actions. Team-oriented environment with strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of GMP and SOPs.
• Experience with product sampling and inspection preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Supports Quality Department and SOP compliance.
• Perform incoming inspections of materials and ensure spec compliance.
• Execute in-process and finished product sampling as required.
• Conduct positive release of finished goods with proper documentation.
• Maintain documentation practices and records.
• Assist with non-conforming product segregation and disposition.
• Identify and deliver quality training as needed.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor GMP and food safety guidelines and escalate issues.
