Job summary

The Production Technician reports directly to the Production Manager, supporting our New Jersey region. The Production Technician oversees cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging cannabis products, ensuring SOP adherence and high-quality standards while guiding the Production Team.

This role requires excellent time management and flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, with a focus on data integrity and cross‑team collaboration to maintain efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of state cannabis laws and regulatory compliance is non-negotiable.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple tasks, and prioritize work effectively.
• Reliability and meticulous organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
• Proficient in oral and written communication; computer-savvy with adaptability to new software.
• Green Flower and/or Ganjier Certificate holder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cultivation activities including planting, pruning, and transplanting cannabis plants.
• Coordinate waste disposal after completion of each order according to established policies and procedures and ensure it is properly stored.
• Monitor and maintain optimal growing conditions to maximize yield.
• Participate in harvesting by trimming and processing harvested plants following established protocols.
• Operate and maintain cultivation equipment; report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of product weights and report discrepancies to the Production Lead.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Follow SOPs to maintain consistency and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with cultivation and production teams to ensure smooth workflows.
• Ensure all products meet established quality standards before next production stage.
• Follow cleaning schedules and sanitation policies to meet safety standards.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions; contribute to team goals.
