Job summary

Curaleaf in Hammonton, NJ is seeking a Lead Production Technician to oversee filling and packaging of cannabis products such as vaporizers, syringes, capsules, tablets and concentrates. You will lead a team, ensure product integrity, maintain safety and drive efficiency across operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of weight and measurement concepts.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment.
• Follows SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Packaging Technicians in daily production tasks including filling, sealing, packaging and labeling.
• Oversee all lab product filling and packaging activities ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records for products and materials.
• Guide team in filling capsules, concentrates, syringes, and cartridges and ensure precise weighing and sealing.
• Monitor productivity metrics hourly and daily and drive improvements.
• Train and mentor team members to foster accountability and excellence.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure tools are maintained and ready for use.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations including seed-to-sale tracking and labeling.
• Implement 5S and waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are upheld; collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with demand.
