Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings is seeking a dedicated Packaging Supervisor to oversee post-harvest packaging operations in a cannabis facility in New Jersey. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, production, and compliance of cannabis products for sale, working with the Post Harvest team to hit targets and maintain quality.

You will lead a team, ensure SOP adherence, and stay current on regulatory standards, enabling a smooth, compliant production process from weighing to packaging.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in packaging and/or cannabis production within a commercial cannabis facility.
• Team leadership experience of at least 2 years.
• Knowledge of state cannabis laws and regulatory compliance or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to meet production quotas and maintain output.
• Foster respectful communication across staff and leadership to support a positive work environment.
• Stay updated on regulatory and compliance changes and adjust production schedules accordingly.
• Adhere to SOPs for accurate weighing, fulfillment, labeling, and storage of products.
• Oversee packaging and packaging equipment operations, ensuring compliance with protocols.
• Ensure all tasks comply with regulatory standards and manage department schedules and workflows.
