Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Lab Technician in Toledo, OH to support lab production, including distillation, extraction, winterization and cannabis-infused products. The role emphasizes safe, compliant operations in a regulated industry.

You will prepare equipment, operate extraction systems, process concentrates, record data, and maintain GLP/GMP standards. A biology/chemistry/physics background and production lab experience are preferred, with OSHA familiarity and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Associate or 4-year degree in biology, chemistry, or physics.
• Prior production lab or manufacturing experience.
• Prior experience working in regulated environments preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for dealing with hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment and cannabis plant materials for extraction.
• Operate intricate extraction equipment in accordance with Green Thumb SOPs.
• Process cannabis concentrates and extracts.
• Deliver on production goals, while focused on safety and quality.
• Record data in lab notebooks and test reports.
