Parallel in Austin, TX is hiring a Cannabis Production Associate to join our fast-paced cannabis-infused food and beverage production team. You will help produce high-quality products while ensuring safety, GMPs, and regulatory compliance.

The role is full-time with open availability, starting pay at $17/hour, with potential to reach $19 depending on experience. Ideal candidates have experience in food manufacturing, bakery, or commercial kitchens and a passion for precision.

Qualifications

• Open availability including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to start shifts as early as 8:00 AM.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to follow recipes, SOPs, and production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cannabis-infused food and beverages according to recipes and schedules.
• Measure, weigh, mix, and portion ingredients for consistency and dosage accuracy.
• Operate kitchen and production equipment (mixers, ovens, packaging).
• Follow GMPs, food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and cannabis regulations.
• Stage ingredients, prepare batches, verify inventory before production runs.
• Monitor processes to ensure quality, appearance, texture, flavor, and consistency.
