Job summary

King City Gardens seeks a Post-Harvest Supervisor to lead drying, curing, trimming, and packaging, ensuring compliance with Ohio DCC regulations and SOPs while maintaining METRC traceability from harvest to vault transfer.

You will manage Dry Room Leads, Technicians, and Packaging Specialists, drive daily targets, monitor environmental conditions, and coordinate with cultivation and compliance teams to guarantee quality and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old and eligible to obtain Ohio DCC credentials.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a cannabis, pharmaceutical, food production, or other regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with METRC seed-to-sale tracking or equivalent cannabis compliance software.
• Strong working knowledge of Ohio DCC regulations and Ohio Administrative Code 1301:18.
• Ability to pass all required background checks per Ohio cannabis licensing requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-harvest activities including harvest intake, drying, curing, trimming, and final packaging.
• Set and communicate daily and weekly production targets for dry room and packaging operations.
• Monitor and document environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, airflow) in drying and curing environments.
• Ensure all finished products are weighed, labeled, and sealed in compliance with DCC packaging requirements.
• Coordinate harvest handoffs from Cultivation, verify batch integrity and METRC tag accuracy at intake.
• Manage vault transfers and ensure product readiness for distribution in coordination with Compliance.
