Job summary

TerrAscend in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a Full-Time Packaging Technician to support daily packaging and processing in a cannabis production environment. You will assist in maintaining packaging and labeling equipment, follow strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards, and help with inventory and data records.

The position is on-site with a M-TH 6am-4:30pm schedule, offering comprehensive health coverage and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Production, or Assembly environment.
• 1–2 years in a Distribution environment is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical skills with units of measure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to daily packaging schedules to meet quality and efficiency goals.
• Verify work areas are clean and in good condition.
• Maintain and ensure packaging and labeling equipment are operating properly.
• Operate and calibrate automated and manual filling machines and scales.
• Perform processing with strict quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Update production data and records accurately.
• Cross-train other packaging line operators.
• Assist with inventory counts of packaging components and finished products.
