FINA Labs in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Laboratory Assistant to support sample intake, processing, and coordination with clients in a fast-paced cannabis testing facility. You will assist technicians, document activities in LIMS, and ensure strict chain-of-custody.

Ideal candidates have experience in regulated labs, attention to detail, and the ability to follow SOPs while maintaining safety standards. This on-site role offers benefits and a stable 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Background check required under MN statutes for cannabis facilities.
• Proficiency with LIMS, laboratory techniques, and analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong data interpretation.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain quality control.
• Experience in regulated environments is desirable.
• Clear written and verbal communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete Sample Intake and enter details into LIMS.
• Coordinate sample drop-off schedules with clients.
• Assist Laboratory Technicians as needed.
• Document all work in LIMS and maintain chain-of-custody.
• Maintain supply inventory and submit requests.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors.
• Handle solvents and hazardous materials with proper PPE.
• Keep lab spaces clean, safe, and organized.
